The blocks for this little wall hanging have kept me busy this past week.
I managed to get into the sewing room to piece the blocks together.
It took several days.
As trying to work with a walker isn't that easy.
Plus I tired easily.
As I can't stand for too long.
But after a couple of days I had it put together.
Ready for quilting.
Which I managed to do in one afternoon.
Simple cross hatch quilting and a lemon binding.
All this sitting becomes very old, very quickly, and I discovered, it doesn't matter how much you pay for your cable service, there isn't anything on TV worth watching.
I'm now working on an applique project.
Happy Stitching.

This is such a pretty embroidery. I've seen it before - Carrie P. of APassionforApplique has also made it. I'm happy for you to be seeing a finish approaching. Very well done, Linda!
looks fabulous Linda, well done you!
It's lovely Linda, glad that you're getting about and I'm also happy to hear that it's not just our satelite tv that's sadly lacking in content..
Well done and keep getting better..

So pretty, the stitching is really beautiful.
That is soooooooo very pretty. And the setting for the blocks sets the stitching off perfectly.
Linda~ Those verandah views are so pretty I printed out the patterns long ago and guess what they are still sitting in a stack of papers somewhere. I think I actually got the first and second one done but now have no idea where it is :)

You could always listen to a book on tape while you stitch away. That's what I call multitasking.
I like your take on the quilt.
I love it!
Your stitcheries look lovely. I made this some time ago, must get it out and hang it up for another airing. I used 3 Sisters fabric in mine, Aviary I think. I like yours very much.
Such a pretty finish. I'm glad your knee is healing well. My mother and my mother in law have both had knees replaced. Keep up the PT, and you should be fine.
As far as the cable goes, I'm with you, nothing on good to watch anymore.
Turned out beautifully. Glad you have these lovely things to distract you during your recovery.
